I inherited a Bottega Veneta bag, but that's it--just the bag...no certificate of authenticity or anything. I went to a Bottega Veneta store and was appalled at how they snotty and pretentious they sounded as they told me, "I'm not authorized to look at your bag. I can't tell you anything about it." I don't know what to do! Where can you get a designer handbag appraised?

check to see if any are for sale on e-bay to get a basic idea and maybe, if you can rustle up the address, send a photo of the bag to the Bottega Veneta corporate office Someone in cutomer relations might be able to help you. If it is authentic, it might have a tag or mark somewhere on it. Google the company name and see if some kind of phone number or e-mail address pops up and try to contact direct.
