august is in the summer, but whatever
coach handbag colors don't go out of season. stick to the original beige and brown, can't go wrong. or black too, that's always in style and she can use either one year round, not just in the winter

winter handbag colors are dark - black, brown
if you change your mind and get her a summer bag, summer colors are pale yellow, white, light pink
