How do I get rid of leather handbag inventory?
My mother wants to clear out her leather handbag inventory of approximately 850 pieces. She doesn't have a store to have a sale, or know how to clear it out for the best price. Any ideas?

I think a garage sale will do. or maybe check the location of a flea market, you can do it by consignment, or better still get a stall and sell them yourself.

Consignment sales through local boutiques and shops in your area. Usually 50/50 split of gross sales price.

em, she can ask some local fashion store to put her bags to display here and sale, of course give parts of the profits to the store owner, negotiate if possible.
Apart from the topic, if you go dropship, which will not have the issue of runing inventory.

You will have to sell them for less than the "best price." That is fundamental Economic law. Your supply is high and your consumer demand is low (or they'd be sold already).
Really, I'd visit some local department and specialty stores and make them an offer they can't refuse. If they refuse (or aren't authorized to purchase) get the number for their regional office and talk to the big wigs. Try E-bay for any thing you can't sell.
If you want to get really agressive, OPEN a store or even just a kiosk at the mall from now through Christmas. You may or may not make more money that way, but that's business.
